1. How do you pronounce the name of this blog?
It's Ditz as in "Ritz" and Dagels as in "Bagels".
2. Why is it called "Ditz and Dagels"?
When I started getting bold in the kitchen, two of the first things I tried were things that my husband loves: Ritz crackers and bagels. I was able to make them both at home with great success! As a joke, my husband said that we would call it "Ditz" (a merge of Dea and Ritz) and "Dagels" (those were on different days though). I thought it was fun the way it sounded. But my favorite food moniker so far created by him has been "Haagen-Deaz", for my homemade ice cream (recipe to be posted soon)! lol
3. How do you pronounce your name?
Dea is a nickname, very common in Brazil. The most approximate pronunciation for English-speakers is "DAy-ah" :)
4. Where's that doughnut in your "About" page from?
That's a delicious yeast doughnut with Valrhona chocolate glaze from Doughnut Plant, in NYC!
